2012 Young Artist String Competition
The BBSO recognizes young and upcoming talent through our annual Young Artist String Competition. This competition is held for students in high school on March 14 & 15, 2012 with the cooperation of Wilson Fine Violins in Birmingham. The winner will receive a cash award and will play with the BBSO at our May 20, 2012 concert.
Applications are due February 18, 2012 with the $45 application fee. Download the application here.

The Birmingham Area Seniors Coordinating Council & Center (BASCC) and the BBSO have partnered to create a new concert series - Coffee & Classics. This series features an intimate performance by BBSO musicians with the musician question and answer session over complimentary coffee and pastries.
