Charles Greenwell
Maestro Greenwell has been music director and conductor of the BBSO since 2005, after serving as its Pops conductor for 15 years. He is noted for presenting informative and entertaining talks at each concert. He is also the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's conducting assistant and was the music director of the former WQRS classical music radio station in Detroit for 21 years.

Felix Resnick
1918 - 2008
Felix Resnick became Conductor Laureate of the Birmingham-Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra in 2005 after serving as its Music Director and Conductor since its inception in 1975. Maestro Resnick, who led the BBSO with awe-inspiring distinction for three decades, was commissioned to form an orchestra that spring and conducted the premiere concert in the fall. Under his leadership, the BBSO won the Detroit Motor City Music Award for The Most Outstanding Community Orchestra in Southeastern Michigan for 11 years. He was the longest-serving member of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, marking his 65th year as a violinist in the 2007-08 Season.
